Workcover/CTP

At Apex our Exercise Physiologists are all Workcover approved and have extensive experience in Workers Compensation.

We work in association with your Nominated Treating Doctor, Insurer, Employer, Workplace Rehabilitation provider and other Health professionals to provide you with the best holistic solutions to mediated an effective and safe return to work program. Our goal is to increase your occupational capacity and improve your work performance to re-establish your employment and complete your job tasks to its entirety.

From the initial commencement of injury management our goal is to empower the injured worker to self manage their condition well beyond the successful completion of their exercise physiology interventions.

At Apex our RTW (Return to Work) interventions included:

  • Clear and effective communication streams with all parties involved in your injury management.
  • Case by case assessment in relation to your job demands and current capacity.
  • Implementation of self-management techniques.
  • Upgrades of Medical Certificates to improve work performances.
  • Identifying barriers to RTW and establishing solutions to maximise injury management.
  • Provide manual handling solutions and pacing strategies.
  • Monitor psychological outcomes and psycho-social factors.

Referral Requirements

Referrer details – Name, role, company, contact details, service required.

Employee details – Name, claim number, certificate of capacity, contact details.

Employer details – Contact name, business name, contact details, job/position  description.

Insurer details – Name, insurance company, contact details.

Rehab provider* – Name, business name, contact details.

Nominated doctor – Name, business name company, contact details.
